A Fun and Free Family Event in Wasilla!

Celebrate fall with us at Creekside Church on Saturday, October 10 from 10am–12pm!
Creekside Fall Festival is a completely free community event for families in Wasilla and the Mat-Su Valley. Bring the whole family and enjoy games, popcorn, face painting, a cake walk, fun activities, a family photo op, and more!
No registration is necessary to attend—just come join the fun!

Family friendly costumes welcome!

Want to dress up? Come in a family-friendly costume and join the fun! We ask that costumes avoid scary, frightening, or dark themes so that Fall Festival remains a fun and welcoming place for every family as we reflect the light and love of Jesus.

Want to help make fall festival happen this year?

Fall Festival takes a whole team of volunteers working together before, during, and after the event. Whether you'd like to help lead an area, serve during the festival, donate supplies, or help behind the scenes, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

Fall Festival Leadership Team

Leadership Team registration is open now!
Fall Festival Team Leads take ownership of a specific area of the festival and help plan and carry it out from start to finish.
Team Leads will:

Attend 2–3 planning meetings in September and early October.
Recruit volunteers and help build a team for their area.
Complete the planning tasks associated with their leadership role.
Oversee setup for their area during the week of October 5–9.
Be available during Fall Festival on Saturday, October 10 from 10am–12pm.
Oversee teardown for their area from 12pm–2pm following the event.

General Volunteers

General volunteer registration is coming soon!
There will be lots of opportunities to serve during Fall Festival! General volunteers should plan to arrive by 9:30am on Saturday, October 10 to help with final setup and stay through approximately 1pm to clean up their station.
Youth are welcome to serve too! Middle school students will need to serve alongside a parent or another youth, and youth volunteers should plan to serve for at least half of the event.

What should Volunteers Wear?

If you have a Creekside Kids or volunteer shirt, please wear it. Event staff shirts will also be available to borrow, and all volunteers will receive a nametag.
Family-friendly costumes are welcome! Costumes do not need to be biblical, but we ask volunteers to avoid dark or frightening themes and choose costumes appropriate for a family event. Volunteers wearing a costume may wear their nametag without a volunteer shirt.

Volunteer Requirements

Those serving as Fall Festival volunteers must have attended Creekside for at least six months, consider Creekside their home church, and have a current background check.
Donating a cake? Donors do not need to meet these volunteer requirements, although the registration system may still ask you to verify them.

Planning to attend?

You don't need to register! Fall Festival is open to the community from 10am–12pm on Saturday, October 10. Doors will open to attendees at 10am.
