When Kings Fail

2 Samuel 11

David’s greatest enemy wasn’t Goliath or Saul—it was the unchecked desire within his own heart. His devastating fall with Bathsheba didn’t happen all at once. It began with drift and grew through compromise, secrecy, and abuse of power. David’s failure warns us that no one drifts into godliness; unattended hearts drift toward compromise.
