The Great Comission

“Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:16-20 (NIV)

The goal of Creekside Missions is to join God in fulfilling the Great Commission in the most effective ways possible. Jesus instructed us to make disciples of all nations. We believe in missions outreach both near and far. We support those who are faithfully teaching God’s Word from home in the state of Alaska, in the rest of the nation, and to the far corners of the earth.

Amazon (Peru)
  • Amazon Outreach is an interdenominational mission organization that was formed to share the gospel message of Jesus Christ throughout the Amazon River Basin. Our mission is to make disciples, train leaders, and plant churches.
  • We accomplish this by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, manifesting the power of the Holy Spirit, and a demonstration of love that transforms people. David & LaRae Pepper lead Amazon Outreach and you can stay connected through their website amazonoutreachperu.org.
  • The Peruvian people are diverse with estimates of 32 million people in this South American nation. Indigenous people make up 45% of the population with 92 distinct languages spoken in Peru. The tribal people in the Amazon Basin live in a beautiful yet harsh environment. 70% of the people in the Loreto Region of Peru are living at the poverty level or below. This area is in Northeastern Peru and is the largest region of the Amazon. Malaria, Dengue Fever, and other illnesses oppress the people living here, yet many times we hear the testimony from individuals thanking God for the blessings they have. It is a privilege to work among these humble people. This region is where much of the focus for Amazon Outreach takes place and we enlist your prayers for the light of the gospel to travel to every tribe and village.

  • “God has called us to share the Good News of the Gospel with the people of Alaska, and it is a calling that we dearly love.
  • We work with Native New Life Fellowship, a ministry that holds weekly church services in Anchorage. These services are geared toward Alaska’s Native people groups, including Indian, Eskimo, Aleut, and Tlingit-Haida. These groups have 11 distinct cultures and make up 20% of the population of Alaska.
  • We help Native New Life share their weekly services via a video ministry, a DVD ministry, a radio ministry, and live and archived internet streaming. Native New Life also has a 5 night yearly outreach every winter that draws thousands of Natives from all over Alaska. David regularly teaches at the weekly meetings and also volunteers weekly with the radio ministry Voice for Christ Ministries. He also enjoys helping train others on how to use technology as a tool for ministry.”
